Meryl is not only the best ever actor that has ever lived, she is a true, genuine inspiration, to everyone, especially those who yearn to be an actor, environmentalist or humanitarian. I love you Meryl…..may you live forever!!!

The money represented in this room. An endowment of 1.2 BILLION - unheard of for a private college of this size. Streep is paid $20 mill a movie now and is worth $160 million. There's plenty of money in this world.

Vassar, who did the montage years? So many of those are so wrong, almost all of her films mentioned are off by a year. Postcards is 90not 91 Ironweed is 87 not 88 Madison County is 95 not 96 etc etc

no that is correct, she was nominated at the oscars 1988, 1991, and 1996 for those movies

@@KrueMann1992 I agree, wrong is still wrong. The montage included all 21 films for which Meryl received an Oscar nomination and they incorrectly used the year she was nominated for all but one: Into The Woods. They got that one correct. They also only included 3 of Meryl's other films. They got those years correct, but why only 3? My guess: Mama Mia because it's her biggest hit; Suffragette because of its subject matter (it's just a cameo); and Don't Look Up because it's her latest film. I like all the other shots used in the montage, but they could have done a better job with her feature films.
