The thing with Meryl is that even though the songs are pre-recorded, she always sings live while filming. So I think they used a blend mix of both, just as they did it in Mamma Mia or Into the Woods. How she can belt all those songs with such an ease and power at 70 is beyond me. She always amazes me how she uses her voice in the song's context she’s going to sing.

Hi JoAnne, i happened upon your video and was instantly interested. I, like many others, wonder how Meryl can sing this well at 71. I have a question, though - what exactly is auto-tune and how do you recognize it? Thanks!

Autotune is used by audio engineers to pitch correct and create a unified sound. I am not an expert in it, but there is a slight modification to the voice that happens.
