Just bought the same amp!! Can't wait to try it out!! Will replace my Victory Super Kraken (which having a share eq was driving crazy). Anyway, great video!

@@kevinp_25 Naw, PA would be like, "so there's one person who likes clean tones". Mine was more sarcastic. But to be fair, the clean can't entirely be ignored in a good demo. So, to your initial point, yeah. True.

@@neonether No way homie. Your original comment was much better PA because I’m like, “wait, is he saying it’s stupid to care about cleans? Or is he saying the amp’s gain tones are so crappy the cleans are the high point?” You gotta admit, when you’re pretty sure someone’s insulting you, but they miiiiight not be...that’s PA perfection.

A easily accessible bias switch is a terrible idea. That’s going to get accidentally switched and result in problems. Couldn’t that switch be on the chassis inside so you only access it while changing tubes/servicing to avoid the predictable accidental problems?

@@rumy6871 not wrong. I’ve seen other amp manufacturers remove a switch like this because of how many issues it’s caused.

1:33 Mesa doesn’t use Tolex, they use Taurus on their amps. Nice effort there, Stephen Miller. Maybe next time they’ll let you read the manual.

Black Taurus IS Tolex ya doorknob. Tolex is the trade name for the vinyl covering used. Black Taurus is just a style. Just like you can get your Mesa amp in Black Bronco...also a style of Tolex. Lol
