Yep, SR's sound great. I used to own a Rectoverb combo (50 watter). Sounded awesome at home and in recordings, but it fell apart in a band context. Especially in "modern" mode. The power amp section and output tranny just weren't robust enough to handle the ridiculous amount of low end Rectos are known for. i suspect that's the reason why they were never too popular. Great demo as usual!

How does it perform as a at home (bedroom) amp? I am waiting on one. I pretty sure I'll never need it for live or band settings.

@@J_Braz_ It's great as a home amp, IMO. It's overpowered, but the "recto sound" isn't about power tube distortion at all. You won't need an attenuator to get great tones; just use the master volumes and you're good to go.

Not bad, so used to dual and triple recs. Which IR pack is that from and do your Essential packs come with 10 IRs total? 👍

On mine the sound jumps 2x louder when I switch from vintage to modern. Is it normal?

This is a serious question cause I owned 2 Dual-Recs before and they didn't do that.

@@iplayloud2 Late reply, but I guess it's normal since my 3 channel Dual Rec does it too. I'm guessing the Dual Recs you owned were 2 channels?

Totally normal. The main difference between vintage and modern is how much feedback is applied in the power amp. The feedback is removed in modern mode so the volume jumps about 6db.
