I set up a little demo to show some often misplayed and misunderstood rules from the game that I find players either willingly or unwillingly do not realize in game play.

Rule .shooting from behind friends. Whilst other models are typically considered to be obstructions when it comes to making shots, we make an exception for models who are in base contact with a friendly model with a base the same size or smaller than theirs.we imagine that the friendly model simply leans out of the way or kneels to avoid obstructing the shot. However models engaged in combat cannot do this.

I don’t mind if the army is like 20” away and the control zones don’t affect the game because they’ll have time to reform the lines but the issue I have is when the opponent doesn’t ask! If I ask my opponent to do anything like that for ease of play, I get permission. If they say no then I go to the correct method. If they’re within range of being charged then I target models properly. My mate plays hobbits, if he shot even in groups of 4 his shooting phase is 15 minutes long!

well we all have our ways of playing. i am usually laid back about it myself, but it really irks me when someone goes "ok im just gonna take my shots and throw them against your front rank and kills will be left to right." that isn't how it works and it can cause issues farther along in the game.
