Hladky has had a contract offer on the table for 6 months, I’ve come to accept he is likely to go. I think an honest convo has happened where he has been informed we plan on signing a new number 1, and it is unlikely at 33 he wants to sit on the bench. Harsh considering how crucial he was last season but that’s football. Also expect McKenna will change up the way we play having seen what happened with Burnley and we will be more direct. If he stays brilliant, if he leaves we will all wish him well. Hope he gets a huge club if he goes like Leeds or Celtic, deserves it.

I am not meslier biggest fan at all ive wanted a new keeper since our first season in the prem , but fans saying he isnt worth 1 to 4 mill is deluded , we paid 5 for him and hes worth more then that , i thought beginning of last season id take 15 for him , so if we can get 20 thats great, but hes definitely worth atleast 10

It’s great that we can offload messlier , I simply cannot believe we will get money for a keeper that cannot catch , dosnt make saves and is such a liability that has cost us a countless amount of points, I’d take any amount for him including 1 million, just hope we can get this over the line and move forward for a proper keeper.

Marek Rodak would be the best for me. I like Hladacky as second choice. Other choices would be Michael Cooper at Plymouth or Timo Horn is available on a free from Red Bull Salzburg.

Perhaps the £20M is in fact the release clause that was put in the contract he signed in the Prem, and thats been mentioned in negotiations .. still guessing its £8-12M in reality

If Meslier goes I'd prefer a loan for Rushworth or maybe Palmer at West Brom. I'd also look at replacing Darlow with Rodak as no 2 and moving on Klaesson and promote one of our young keepers like Mahady as third choice

Be great to have a thorough clearout. Get rid of Meslier, Darlow, Llorente, Cooper, Shackleton and Bamford. That's around £25m and shed loads of wages saved. Invest in a new GK, CD and ST.
