Mesozoic Era
The Mesozoic Era, also called the Age of Reptiles and the Age of Conifers, is the second-to-last era of Earth's geological history, lasting from about 252 to 66 million years ago and comprising the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods. It is characterized by the dominance of archosaurian reptiles, like the dinosaurs; an abundance of conifers and ferns; a hot greenhouse climate; and the tectonic break-up of Pangaea. The Mesozoic is the middle of three eras since complex life evolved: the Paleozoic, the Mesozoic, and the Cenozoic.

Great piece here, but it leaves me with a big dumb question ... was there so much birds in this era ? I know it's a work of fiction but I think it would be interesting to try to create a more "scientifically accurate" version. I know modern birds co-existed with dinos for some time, but if you travel a bit back in time I think that the only flying creatures (for a really long period) were insects and pterosaurs (might be wrong though). We're so used to associate jungle sounds with all sorts of birds sounds, so it would be pretty fun to hear what a jungle would feel without them. Don't know if you've already heard the few "scientificaly accurate" dinosaur sounds out there but it would be nice to create something with those. Dinos communicating with low frequency sounds and closed mouth vocalisations instead of roars ... some of them, like the parasaurolophus, sound like UFOs.

This comment is just false. Birds did exist back then, and im pretty sure a lot of non avian dinosaurs would make bird like sounds anyway, especially small raptors and other small theropods, maybe not like a singing bird but like an emu or ostrich. Dinosaurs werent the only animals around back then so making a video with only dinosaur sounds in it would make it more unrealistic imo. There were a lot of avian dinosaurs as well. And big dinosaurs dont scream all the time as well.
