It's LVD as per Luis Dias de Viedma's 1639 treatises "Metodo de Ensenanza de Maestros". Viedma has his own unique quirks that may be throwing you off the scent.

You should read it again because you couldn't understand it.Maybe that's because you didn't read Pacheco before reading Viedma but this isn't LVD.High Generals and Low Generals should be done in order to strike your opponent in safety.The primary concern of LVD is safety so that's why it focuses on control, binds and angles.If there are places that you don't understand, you can ask them to me because Viedma uses Esgrima Comun terminology in some places like nails up at the General of Narrowing.Yesterday, I used LVD against Longsword with an Arming Sword thanks to Viedma and Thibault.

@@suatkuran5323 I have read Pacheco. I would direct to 'Grandezas' folios 233 to 242, where he details advice for how to oppose the alfanje, the cutting sword of the Turk. I'd then point you to ';Metodo' Chapter 5, Section 2 "Against Moores". In both works the advice given is to avoid the opponents blade with voids below, and employ the advantage of the right angle against the shorter weapon. To quote: "...he has a great advantage due to the long weapon, as well as because all the times that he brings the sword in right angle and free, he will wound him where he will want....Thus, the sword has to flee, giving him a blow..." This doubly true for Viedma, as he teaches to use the Andalusian thrust in the Mode of Continuous Citations to give Sent Blows. In longsword v arming sword, you have the shorter sword, and can't rely on the advantage of the right angle. In that scenario, you're correct to rely on atajo. I'm sure you can appreciate how that's not the scene shown here. If you're adamant on my fencing here being a failure, present your own demonstration. I'd be happy to take a look.
