Cr7 for variety e.g knuckle ball, curve shots, long rangers, in the box freekicks, freekicks from the most impossible angles, but messi for ratio. Variety makes for a great compilation, so variety takes it for me.

What makes his unique is the speed of the ball and distance of over 40 yards which makes sense because u need power behind the ball from such a distance...and Ronaldo has powerful foot and very fit athletically And every keeper will tell u that they find it more difficult to stop powerful shots than slow shots...u don't need rocket science to decode this..this is basic law of physics...so what's unique about it. When something is unique it defines logic and laws of nature What is unique is when another shoots with less power, the keeper can see where the ball is heading but still can't stop it... This is what defies logic and laws of physics/nature. Try shooting a ball in Penalties with pace and power vs kicking it like an 3 year old infant and see which has higher probability of going in

And this also sums up the way they play and how they train. Football is made up of two major parts.. fitness and intelligence. Both players have these BUT in different quantities One is more athletic and physical than another...one is more intelligent than the other.

You can't compare them in this departament because ronaldo is a better freekick taker. 1. Ronaldo has scored all kind of freekicks, dipping, knuckleball, between a wall, under the wall, with strong shots and curling. Messi has scored with curling and under the wall freekicks. 2. Ronaldo's technique of shooting the ball is way harder than the Messi's technique, there are very few players that can score like ronaldo and there are many many players who can score like messi, nothing special on it. 3. Ronaldo's freekicks are beautiful and magical to watch, we can remember 95% of his freekicks, because they are so special. Messi scores like most of the players that shoots a freekick, it looks the same.

Both Messi and Ronaldo are from an other planet and people cannot comprehend how difficult it is to score a freekick like them. Ronaldo is a machine able to score freekicks from anywhere striking the ball however he wants(knuckleball,powershot,curve,etc..) as seen in the video, while Messi is like an artist who only uses one technique(curve) and yet he still manages to strike the ball so precisely that it is almost as if it was mathematically calculated just before the execution. Ask yourself this question: Have you ever seen anyone else that can match atleast the 1/5 of greatness of these two? If the answer is yes then you should rewatch their careers, which consist of an insane amount of achievements, magical moments, impossible goals and their continuous domination in the top 5 leagues for more than a decade. Simply put, Ronaldo is the greatest striker of all time, Messi is the greatest winger of all time and they both are the GOATS of football.

Messi usually places his freekicks to perfection meaning he doesnt need that much power because keepers cant reach them anyway. Ronaldo puts so much power on his freekicks that he doesnt have to be that accurate because keepers dont even have time to react before the goal is in the back of the net, although a lot of his freekicks are also placed to pefection. Personally i prefer Ronaldos technique because its a lot more fun to watch but Messi is the better freekick taker because he scores freekicks more consistantly

messi uses his skills to make a top bins so its hard for the goalie to get curved. ronaldo just smashes it towards to goal with curve or knuckleball and since its moving so fast to goalie will need more time to react to save it. I like messi's frekicks more
