I remember in 2007 i had a conversation with my teacher. -Who is your favorite player? -Messi -Who is he? I dont know him. -You will see! And here we are. I have had the pleasure of seeing some great players in my time, I also have had the pleasure of watching countless videos of the likes of Pele, Puskas, Di Stefano, Maradona. Each one in their own right was truly a footballing great, but it is my belief that not One of them holds a candle to the magical number 10. He is the best I have seen in history, he is the best player in the world right now, and I find it difficult to believe that we will ever see a better player on a football pitch than Messi. I am just glad that I live in an era where we can see this guy play week on week. He truly is a joy to watch, there are times where he quite literally leaves me speechless, the guy truly is a One off, a genius who no One comes close to. I respect Ronaldo so much, even though I can't stand Man Utd and Real Madrid, and but for Messi he would be the best player in the world, but Messi is just a level above him and everyone else

Rooman Hamza You May be a Madrid fan but you have no idea Who CR7 is. Ask Ferguson and he will never tell you that R7 is no where near Messi cause he knows at least they must be equal. For Me he is the better one. I don't believe Real Madrid fans really know R7. R7 is as magical as anyone would want in his shots just like Messi is in dribbling.

I think they aren't being surprised, they are just reacting to his magic although they already know he's able to do that... I think in a match it's probably different, there's added tension and there's that added joy when Messi scores an amazing goal or does magic things...

I think for many people he will still go down as the greatest and even if he wins people wont accept it. For me, hes the best ive seen. Im not old enough to have seen pele or any of that time but i saw maradona n to me messi has shown hes better. More consistent and just more abilities. If he won a world cup ur right tho his legacy would be complete
