I’m elderly have raised and nurtured five biological children successfully but nurturing was a struggle even with having the man and the grandparents around for support. They are successful college graduates 🎓 and professionals. It doesn’t matter if a child is reared from a financially stable household or from a struggling household they will still face challenges from within their environments. Racism, stereotyping, inequalities and being hated on applies to every person so Money isn’t a qualifier in reality 🙏🏽💯❤️

This sounds nice but statistically it’s wrong. The main 2 factors in a child’s success is the mental health and happiness of their caregivers and finances. You’re not speaking about children who don’t have enough to eat or proper utilities. Children definitely need money to become successful.

Nell’s delivery is not a turn off for those kids. Kids these days are entitled. I’m a little like Nell and no I’m not “wealthy”… I work well enough to keep mine in good schools, clean neighborhoods, clean streets and grocery stores… just had to tell my oldest son a few days ago that he’s not a rich kid. Get up and be proactive everyday. Work for what you want. It’s frustrating.

I watched this episode twice and then have the husband and then we have the teenage and young adults children listened and babe, we heavy family discussions and seeing ir thinking about things and situation-ship differently. Now the family meeting are certainly turned up for us as parents to not be helicopter parents and more. I cried so hard privately and stayed in bed two days, my hubby thereafter told me, from his day onwards he got me and anything my heart desire he will provide even more. Those children have him strung out for 2 days, lol lol and each with their different personality and eating habits. He even asked the house cleaner for help, chile, i heard, and laugh, went back in bed to process and grieved and also watch Netflix lol lol lol lol

I have to agree with Heavenly the real dad needs to talk with Ken and let him know that he's changed and he really wants to be a part of his kids lives and if Ken could talk to the kids and ask them if they want to see their real dad and also talk to them and tell them to meet up with him and hear him out and then let the kids make the decision themselves

Agreed. I think this is the best route. Ken should be a buffer between Marquez and the kids. Otherwise, the kids might not receive him even though he is their bio dad.

I don’t think he NEEDS to go to Ken first. However, I think that’s the smart route. He needs to tell both Tricia and Ken that he is sorry for his absence and that he would like to step up. He needs to thank Ken, so respect can be established between the both of them. Then they all need to sit down, Ken and Tricia need to let the kids know that they are on good terms with Marquis and that they ALL love them. Then Marquis needs to speak to the kids alone and genuinely apologize for his actions. He needs to take ownership and say that he was selfish and his absence had nothing to do with them. Then he needs to be consistent and follow through with everything he said he was going to do. Problem solved.
