the point is, he repeatedly refused to res 3 things, then decided to res one, long after it was too late to still get the priest to burn the AoE he was trying to bait out, and still have more playable options to back it up with.

@@TheMouseMasterYT Yeah you're right. And sadly it's a bad matchup too. Resurrrect priest has way more value than this deck. Sadly the only good paladin deck in this meta is the Sirvallah otk one. Or maybe a more aggro highlander deck.

Dude I actually can't believe how good Highlander Paladin is.... So I pulled Malygos, Aspect of Magic out of a pack so I crafted Dragonqueen Alextrasza to play highlander mage. Then I wasn't doing to well (cuz I didn't have reno or zephrys, lol) so I randomly made a highlander paladin deck. And that deck DESTROYED. I still don't have zephrys and this paladin's already beaten a quest priest and highlander mage that actually had zephrys and reno. I have a slightly different build due to limited cards (running High Priest Thekal with Crystalsmith Kangor and some heal as placefillers) but man this deck is so good it's starting to make me want to craft Zephrys. Cuz right now Alextrasza is literally my only singleton synergy card and I'm still winning.

Jon_jon13 I don't think someone will argue with the comparison (the key word is "more", since every deck requires "skill"), but you're overestimating the decision making in control vs control. You know, 2 is double 1 but not that much more. For that matter, since a lot of the cards played in control matchups are inconsequential, (a lot of removal, heals and dmg doesn't matter that much) theoretically speaking every aggro cards matters more, it's just that they have less choice on what to play. So the initial statement still holds true, even though you're selling a valid point.

@@Luca48882 well that was the point of my joke, obviously there's still decision making in aggro (from deciding which cards to include in the deck, to deciding if it's better to fight for the board or go all-in to face, or which minion to play, etc.). But it's not the same as, every turn, wondering "is this removal better for this situation or should I save it for later in case they play X or Y that I KNOW it's coming because I know their decklist?". I never said aggro is totally mindless, just that they don't care as much about TIMING specifically.

He has built a Paladin deck that is specifically good for against aggro decks, problem is though that regular Paladin Paladin can already out-aggro most other aggro decks as well as winning against the usual good matchups for aggro decks.

I'm tired of seeing the retarded comment. the only acceptable time he could have copied the mass rezz was when the opponent played it for the 2nd time. If trump played it on the first mass rezz he'd be way over committing. on the 2nd mass rezz trump was more likely to get a minion 4/4 and below (about 6 minions died that were "worth it", out of 19 deaths) if trump played that it would have been a huge gamble. He did the safe play. So who's the genius? Obviously not you

@@knabbagluon This deck doesnt have any charge so Priest can wipe the board before the Pally can attack. Priest also doesnt have card draw so they win fatigue battle. I've been ranking up with Quest Priest it deals with everything except the new Quest rogue deck

I don't understand how a pro player can make so many bad plays, he held that dragon so much to make an "amazing" play, and ends up doing the worst possible play that earned him nothing. If it were to waste the card like that then play to use mass resurrection, at least that way it would clear the opposing board with the priest casting plague. Trump sometimes impresses me.
