I finished both specialisations and I think the Meta one is way better. I dont agree with you when you say its good to do both. I think the best strategy would be to do the Meta one and then head straight for the Google Advanced Data Analytics one which I have also completed. I think they blend well

Meta's python for data analysis section was great, mainly the videos about subsets, which I didn't find a video about in youtube.

It is Ok I guess, I think the Google one is better, I have a degree in Computer Science Software engineering so I have an advantage. There were some errors which I assume they will be fixed soon since it is a new course. I like the statistics course, most other certifications don't include it. Python course was Ok but I couldn't connect much with the instructor so I'm taking the python course only from the IBM one. The exercises had some errors in thr beginning. Overall I would give it 3/5 stars. The google one 5/5. I guess Google was right when the said R is easier to start with in Data analytics. I did the Google cert in 2 weeks, Meta in 3 weeks, I have already have 10 of experience in Excel, familiar with SQL and I did Java, C, Php, Javascript in school 10 years ago, Statistics in my Lean six sigma black belt, hence most courses where easier for me.
