You used it outside in bad weather, did you just leave it outside? Did you dry it off at the end of each day? Because that seemed like alot of rust, and missuse.

We have two of these They have been great and having the AC adapter when AC is available has been great and saved hours of battery life Largest capacity battery powered saw

Um…. there’s a lot of maintenance with any table saw, buddy. Someone cranking the handle too hard isn’t the manufacturer’s fault. You not lubricating the rails isn’t the manufacturer’s fault. You not squaring the fence isn’t the manufacturer’s fault. You running a dull blade isn’t this the manufacturer’s fault. You leaving it out in the rain isn’t the manufacturer’s fault. How is this Metabo HPT’s problem again?? 🤔

This. I don’t take care of and abuse my saw and it gives me sub par performance so it’s a shitty saw. Make that make sense.

When it was new was fence alignment an issue? Thinking about getting this, not for a jobsite saw or for green wood, just for my garage. Does the fence stay square under non jobsite use?

Do not get saw. I had to change fence was bowed. They told me to return saw. The saw tool 3 months to come in from purchase date. They never gave me another fence. I ended up having to buy the corded model to get a better fence. The battery font last. Fence is off most of the time check it on every cut

I think the reason the motor bogged down so much is simply because you are trying to drive a wedge between the fence and the back part of the blade. Resulting in a lot of friction and resistance for that motor to overcome.

Out here on our Pnw the rain we get i don't think most of the US understand the rust ALL our tools endure, even with regular maintenance. If your tool ain't mostly stainless you are gonna toss tools way more frequently than rest of country.

I have an idea. Let me buy this model saw and use it for what it wasn't designed for. Let morons operate it , then store it outside under cover in the humid freezing weather so when it is trashed after 4 years I can get on utube and trash it. I will be at Metabo HPT in Braselton Ga. tomorrow and I will be sure and let the guys in service know to pass this video around.

Take it apart, clean it, lube it and it will be work just fine. Not a rocket science.

This is the worst tablesaw i have ever owned. I bought it after a you tube review. Maybe if i didn't have 2 dewalts i would like it. First the the side rail has sagged from day 1. The feed rails sag The fence isnt square to the table. The fence doesnt want to stay locked. The is an expensive piece of junk. Oh, the power adapter cant keep up to the power of the saw. It keeps shutting off when the adapter is used.
