the chemistry here was great, you two did a great job! This job seems pretty intense but definitely worth it, the talent these welders have must be immense.

Welding is a rough career . You don’t get air con in a fab shop. I would never talk a teen into becoming a welder .

It really is. There are so many options nowadays where you could easily make more than what welding offers. Sure, you can make good money welding but it’s not as easy as people like AWS and Mike Rowe make it seem… rare to get AC, rough on the body, other welders can be toxic, low pay for majority of jobs, and takes many years to become a good welder. I do it because I love it, but I’m definitely finishing my welding engineering degree cause I don’t want to be behind a hood my whole career.

@@ieatslag5947 don’t know where you live . But try to get into the film industry. Only place to earn good money as a welder 12/14 hour days tho . You will make Enough money to buy your own plant . And go out on your own

there are many shops that don't have AC, true. I worked in an AC shop in a very clean environment doing TIG welding on aerospace parts, another shop that I worked at also had AC, we did a lot of stainless pipe work. There are jobs available at both ends of the spectrum, and many welding related fields such as inspection, testing and engineering. No matter the field of work I agree, no one should be talked into it.
