Quick video on ammo cans and different uses they have and why I think metal ammo cans are better than plastic ones.
Ammo cans are from Midway USA

Those are the cleanest cans I have EVER seen! The 30MM is my favorite size. Great for Faraday cages.

Hi... Thanks for the video... The cans look great, do you think the deal you got is still available from midway 5 years later??...

Metal much better for sure. Had two of the 20mm for about twenty years, I store ammo in them and keep them in an outside storage shed. Never had an issue and I bought them surplus. Thanks for sharing.

Costco has 50cal+30cal ammo cans for less than $20. The 20mm can is cool for supply storage not so much for ammo storage. Unless, you have loaded mags and a couple pistol in it for your hideout.

I’m thinking of making it side ways . And make steel legs for the bottom and one hole on the top side to put a pipe. And keep the ammo box door.

...... Hey TF, ... I've been wondering about the paint and how well do you think it would hold up against solvents, like gasoline . I'm thinking of using an ammo can as a gas tank for one of my future builds.

$99.99 is just waaaaay too much money. I got 5 40mm ammo cans for that price. costco has a 50cal/30cal combo for $15.

Technically not an O-ring. It is a rubber gasket but kind of serves the same purpose. I use the plastic ones for short term storage of reloaded ammo, they are not as secure as the metal ones but they serve a purpose. I get them at harbor freight for $6.00 each and they will easily hold 1000 rounds of 9mm. Good video thanks for posting.

Thanks man and also thanks for the correct wording, I had a feeling I was off on the term and sometimes so focused on the video I forget to ensure the correct term is being used but I am working on that. Thanks for the input on harbor freight that's not a bad price and I also use the plastic ones for range ammo and other stuff as they do server a purpose with certain things.

Can you confirm that they are indeed manufactured in China and NOT the United States? "U.S." is in the title on the midwayusa website but nowhere does it say MADE IN USA.....

I can not see anything specific on the ammo can itself saying made in the USA so I just have the info from the site, I can say that I did once place an order from them and when I received my ammo cans you could immediately tell they were not made in the USA, the feel, color, look and rubber seal looked different and not new, also the cans said made in china. I have also order ammo online that came in ammo cans made in the USA and they looked just like the ones ordered from Midway, I personally believe you get what they say your getting however I did have that one hiccup with them also every ammo can I have seen that is not USA made says made in china, hope that helps.
