Lol I noticed that too. He palm muted and then was also doing a left hand mute........which then equates to.........everything is muted and you only hear small little quick 16th notes and not that many of them. I think I heard about 5 notes before he started playing the chorus and he still muted the shit out of it. I don't understand it honestly because every music sheet for that song has throughout it..........."LET RING". That generally means you don't mute anything but for him it means the opposite. Very weird.
