The double sided nail was probably a pin to something. Possibly rigging for a boat? The wire protector stuff you found is called Loom. Loom is usually plastic but it's also made out of various metals for an option to protect and hide wires, rope, or string in that's more rigid than plastic but also flexible. You're right, it is a conduit.

6:40 Nora I do believe that that double-ended nail that you're holding is in fact a shaft for wheels for a small Matchbox car, or a small toy car axle

Hi, Nora (and hello, Nora's mom). That's some nice clear water to detect in. I see you ended up clearing more trash from the ocean and only got a couple of crusty coins in return. The gold crucifix was a bonus find but it's a shame the stones weren't real. It was nice of you to put the other person's laundry into the drier for them, too. Thanks for sharing. Ich habe wieder gern viertuell mitgesucht. Schöne Location, super klares Wasser. Die Wolkenstimmung war schon etwas gruslig. Schöner Kreuz Fund zwischen dem Metallschrott. Und dann noch Mister Crabs zu hause. ;-)

Nice work Nora. When you found the crucifix it looked like there was a ring or pull tab next to the white rocks. Idk i might have just been seeing things lol

The big metal thing at 1:24 is a sacrificial anode that goes on outboard engines to prevent eletrolysis from degrading the engine components. The nail thing reminds me of what holds a watchband on a watch, but it is rather large for that.

That double pointed 'nail' appears to be the Tungsten electrode for a T.I.G. welder torch (Tungsten Inert Gas). Nice find, great suit and beautiful clear water.

Very cool looking crucifix! That double pointed"nail" looks very familiar to me. It looks like a tungsten electrode that goes in a tig welding torch. You can tell it's used by then tips, they don't come to a even tapered tip.

i found a silver chain , 3 rings ,one i think a tungsten carbide. ,like $100 on the internet , a white gold wedding band. ,one was junk. ,i found a junk cross ,always trash and change. surfing championship is coming 7/29 -8/6. goodies to find. have a good day.
