I lived in N.E. Ohio my whole life until 8 months ago. I always wanted to detect the areas of John Hunt Morgan's raid. Lots of history in Ohio but definitely more here in coastal GA. The weather is better too.

That was great !! There sure were a lot of people there !!! Real nice project, and glad to see the " Hoover boys " Participate. I recognized Josh and a few others.....Eddie was a good sport about it all. We just got about a foot of snow since Monday, so my detecting is done for about 5 months. Great hunt at the CWPPO 2016, incredible amount of coinage that came out of the ground! The Large cent field was freaking awesome! 44 dug a killer 10K huge Gold ring .... Sweat as all can be! Congrats to Bob for his first & second complete crotal bells with dingers! The spinner returns for arrowheads! Thanks for sharing and HH

The Hoover Boys how much snow do you get down there? lol. we are sitting at 2 inches on the ground and about 11 degrees F. It is supposed to be -5 degrees and -20 wind chill next week here in Saint Paul mn

Just an old farm. Ohio is loaded with coins for some reason. They must have been rich and clumsy back in the day. There was a tavern on the property. Extra foot traffic and clumsiness
