In my humble opinion, you should have more than 100k subs Nora! Your videos are entertaining regardless of the treasure hunting aspect. You are always having a fun adventure, cleaning up the beaches, returning lost items to people, and showing us spectacular views of the places you travel to with uplifting music. Well done!

The little round fishing sinkers are known as "split shots". They are lead balls with a slit and are attached to fishing line by pinching onto the line.

What would be cool, is if you saved up all your aluminum, copper, brass, even sterling and gold pieces, and got a small metal furnace and melted the stuff down to make your own bars. I love the metal melting channels too. This would be a great combined channel

the blah day leaves room for improvement next dive. The hinge looking thing could also be a pintle located on a rudder of a small boat. Generally the pintle is seated in a gudgeon and is able to swivel allowing the rudder to steer the boat.

I used to metal detect a lot. Be careful on cleaning your finds, especially the “old” ones. It can harm the value. Great videos.

The hinge looks like a sort of barrel hinge where the other half has a socket that the piece you have would slide into.
