The "singing" screams are called pitched screams. They add such a cool texture to vocal delivery. A prime example is the vocalist in the Moments Of Clarity EP by Erra. "Dreamweaver" and "Warrior" are standout tracks, but the whole EP is full of them. Been working on them personally, and it is NOT easy to do properly. Check those songs if you have the time!

you got a lot of things right for a first reaction! well done... what I noticed on my first listen was the vocal variation of course and that incredible breakdown but also the pan l/r of the cymbals and bell like sounds, man that was sweet...

I just found your video from my feed. Loved it and the perspective from a metal drummer. I am a drummer but I can't really do metal (lack the ability). More progressive rock. You brought in your girlfriend to translate 😆 nice touch. Nice girl by the way, ya'll look like a good fit. I'm not sure why but I have had a fascination with Russia and their people. I went to Moscow three times 15 years ago. It was very interesting, especially riding on their subway which goes waaaay underground. Anyway, great video. Subscribed and will check out more. I read in the comment section of another reaction to this song that the russian lyrics are from a russian folk chant used to summon demons. Or something along those lines. I have no idea if that is actually true, but it sounds cool. *Just saw that someone said the same thing in this comment section as well. Neat!
