If you haven't already seen them then Floor's covers of 'Alone' and 'Let it go' that she did from her house when the Nightwish tour was delayed by Covid are really, really good 😁

After performing at the Dutch TV show 'Beste Zangers' in 2019, in which she sang in so many styles and different languages and which made her much well known in her own country, she was asked to do more solo work. Shortly after the Covid situation came however and the music industry shut down completely. During that time Floor explored her own style and began to write again on some new material of her own as she did during her time with 'After Forever' and 'Revamp'. Several songs on her solo album deal with the Covid situation and the forced home isolation as is this one. The wish to be heard again as a singer. Some feared that this solo career would jeapardise her working relation with Nightwish, but Floor stated again and again, that Nightwish always will come first! And Tuomas supports side projects of the members as they contribute to the Nightwish fame in the end also.

Floor is one of a kind. Forging a different style for her solo music.

Floor does everything. And she does everything sooooo goooood. Her voice, her stage presence, her gestures, her looks, and what a gentle spirit!

This was a song from HER (hopefully not only) solo album "PARAGON". All songs written by the GODDESS and co-composed. On that album SHE wanted to make something HER own....nothing like the touch of Nightwish or the bands and projects SHE had been in before. And yes there are also Pop-elements in it........but it is still pure GODDESS.

I love all of her music: as singer of After Forever, ReVamp and Nightwish (all metal) and solo (watch her concert Amsterdam 2021) or co-operating with others (e.g. Ayreon).

Floor Jansen is on a whole other level you know if your known for being a rock and metal singer and you can do a lighter song like this and it does so well that it charts pretty quickly i think it went to number 1 in the netherlands and the fact that she is the third most googled person in her home country of the netherlands well that commendable
