The web of deceit the Metal Gear series has spun over the years, finally capped off and brought full circle by "The Phantom Pain"... is probably the most masterfully executed retconning of lore I have ever seen. It's like Operation Intrude's lore has been embued with a whole new layer of complexity and depth...far more than any day-one MGS fan could have previously imagined.

Here before it blows up. I have chills just off of this concept/draft alone and NEED to see this get animated with a team of eloquent writers that understand the nuance between mindfucky fourth wall breaks and meta commentary with interactions between characters. Please let me help. I’m a mega fan of most things Metal Gear, and I’ve had a storyboard for how the IP could be handled nicely.

@@Ren0.1 - So what I wrote is Metal Gear Solid Zero: Demons of Heaven [essentially a retelling of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 that respects the retcons and still adds some plot twists that make perfect sense]. With some retcons of my own. One major retcon I made was for Big Boss himself to be the one to take down Eli/Mantis/Sahelanthropus [Mission 51 from MGSV that was cut out from the final game] instead of Venom. It’s a lot of stuff tho, and I kinda wrote it to follow along for a video game format. I’m 1000% invested in the lore of Metal Gear to see an anime tho, and I have a pretty good understanding of how it should/could go if I were to help.

Normally I’m very anti AI (as anyone who played MGS2 should be lol) but this is obviously very well made. Little SFX in the background lets me know alone that a lot of love and effort went into this. Well done.

AI gives creative individuals the power of a studio, and is only a threat to large megacorporations with power and money who can pay people to make substandard "content" that will always be supported by mindless consumers willing to pay for anything thanks to advertising.

This amazing. A KZfaqr Mitchell Hammond was doing animated videos of MG with no dialog that looked amazing. But I think he stopped cause his work was getting stolen. I’m so happy I found this cause these games need to be put in some form of anime or movie. Cause these stories are too damn good to not be put into a show.

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it, I was quite happy with how the voices turned out to be honest, big boss’s voice is based on his mgs4 version, I figured he’s getting a bit older during outer heaven so. and gray fox voice is based on mgs1 twin snakes version without all the cybernetics!

I’d only Hope kojima himself would see this and plan to do a remaster of metal gear tx cause most players who are older only got to play something similar to that on Nintendo ages ago the second game of that series on Nintendo never really counted! But the tx game was only available on pc back then it cost a lot to have computer parts and so forth. But you doing a honorable service to fans everywhere!

4:17, This kind of made me wish a grapnel-rappelling device were included in the games (or in the unlikely event that they remade the original first two). If anything, someone could what they did with Nier Automata and actually make an anime out of the series in an 80’s-90’s retro style). In general, the initial focus on military leaders and politicians across the world discussing the possible threat of Outer Heaven (all set to a slowed down version of Snake’s theme) was a great way to start this adaptation.

This is awesome! Great art style and nice voiceover, but since it's only a slideshow, it becomes a bit confusing as to who is talking when multiple people are on screen. Forget the live action movie, I want a Metal Gear anime now!
