Ac!d 1 & 2 are criminally underrated . I wish they would have released HD versions for the vita .

I had no idea the stories in AC!D were so batshit, even compared to canon MGS.

Metal Gear Acid 2 was amazing. I played through twice on psp, and once on an emulator on my phone. I honestly love that game.

Acid 2 has my favorite aesthetic of all time .

First MGA was rough around the edges, however you can see what they wanted out of it. The second one perfected the formula, loved the hell out of it.

Since Day 1, the whole "leaving a surrogate behind to take all the costly risks in your stead while you plan the next big move" is and shall always be the most Kojima of all Kojima tropes

If you approach the Acid series mostly as a turn based stealth game, you're gonna have a rough time. When I first came across Acid 1 I felt the same way you did with the whole system because I had no understanding of how these type of card games worked. After I got into card games like Hearthstone, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Shadowverse, I went back and I absolutely loved it.

Acid 2 looks great overall and I actually like *most* of Snake's design here, but holy shit how did the game get all the way through development and to release with those, like... Camo chaps or whatever the fuck those are on his thighs? It looks like the guy put on full combat gear and then decided to wear his boxers on the outside. You can't even try to ignore how stupid it looks, either, since the light greenish colors clash completely with the entire rest of his blue/black scheme.

I played both acid and acid 2. And, although the first was overall bad, I thought acid 2 was actually really good. I kinda wanted teliko and venus to team up for an acid 3 where they rescue alternate universe snake or something

i have both AC!Ds and my psp . the only thing i need is a working battery and charger. unfortunately i lost my sd card for them and my Peace walker save. AC!D 2 was fun. weird but fun.

Metal Gear AC!D 1 is about as smooth and refined as a sock full of gravel, but AC!D 2 was actually one of my first PSP games, and I really enjoy the characters and story, and most of all the aesthetic. The character designs of both games are rad, tho

Gave you thumbs up although you didn't like the games. The video is your personal view on it. In my opinion they are way better than you present them. I agree, the story is weird. But I really loved the gameplay. For instance, life itself is by chance. Why should it be a problem in this game. Just deal with the cards you get. The empty areas you showed are rare (as I remember). There is a challenge behind almost every corner. I recommend to try the games, play a while, understand the mechanics and then the game gets you (or not). A lot of people will love them, too.

A mobile port (i mean MODERN port for android and ios) of the Ac¡d games is a no brainer. Dont know why they havent done it. I played these on a psp emulator and because the slower pace, they play great even on touch controls. Also, the opening ost of both games are real bangers.

I still own acid 1 and 2 on my psp. They cool but rather have traditional Metal Gear any day. That 3D girl thing was cool though 😜

If I'm being honest, I'd probably play the ac!d games if the gameplay were more akin to the first MGS game, cuz that would probably fit the PSP controls and run better than the layout for Portable Ops/Peace Walker.(I still liked tho games, just hard to control from time to time)

Couldn't get into Metal Gear Acid, but I loved the soundtrack. It really reminded me of MGS1. It's like how I would have imagined a sequel to that game to sound before MGS2 existed. Back in those quaint days before we knew the existence of Raiden, or post-modernism.

Acid 1 was terrible and I thought for the longest time it was just me cus a lot of people I knew at the time loved it

Wow, didn't remember how shitty Acid 2 looks, they should have just had to stick to MGS2's graphical style as Acid 1 did.

This game looks boring.

Everyone makes the same stupid incorrect points. There is a save system mid game. You access it through the same menu you end your turn. As for the waiting for cards, you should have added cards that let you draw or discard your hand for 6 new cards. Literally most of the complaints about this game are user error issues. Am I the only AC!D master???

I love Metal Gear Acid's mind fuckery. It and MGA2 deserve to be ported to more accessible systems.
