I'm impressed. The guys either knew a little about fencing, practiced a lot or both of them at the same time. It shows when people handle a sword like one, instead of fanning around like it was a baseball bat. It looked great.

I expected two moderatly overweight 30 year olds flailing about to Jetstream Sam's theme, and what I got was two proper swordsmen dueling in a believable way. It's glorious, I applaud you.

My only complain with the choreography is that Raiden doesn't "take" Sam's sword. He sheaths his sword as a show of respect for his rival.

This was literally the best piece of Metal Gear media I've ever seen. I've always wanted to see more out of these characters, and while this is just a silly little cosplay, it was absolutely kino. I loved every second of it, in spite of the little slip ups here and there.

It's really cool how they reenacted the events from the game while adding some new scenes. Both cosplays are great. I love how they literally used the song and the dialogue directly from the game. This is so dang cool.

Like the sword duels of the Sengoku periods emulated alongside the quick draw duels as cowboys, this is reminiscent of stage plays during the Edo period when imitating the samurai is no longer punishable by death.
