I had some fun just testing out various things whilst in Groznyj Grad with Raikov and the guards! I really enjoyed making this video, and I even learned some new things myself whilst doing so! i finished this game easily over 30 times. i did not know raikov reacts to the mask at all. i'm still amazed i find out new things

You know, it's been decades but I've never heard Raikov's voice until now. I always just head up stairs to the locker and wait, then gas him with the cig-spray when he enters so I don't have to worry about dragging him about.

I can completely understand; the less seen and heard of Raikov, usually the better 😂 and that is the best way to deal with him to be fair 😅

The comedic inserts in this game are what keep me coming back honestly. How you can just ram someone off a cliff, or the weird dialogue/easter eggs you can find throughout the game. It's so fun, and very nostalgic.

I agree; there's so much replay value in this game, it's incredibly fun, and the dialogues and interactions between the characters feel real 😄

@@IQ-Gameplay It truly does give a good game world experience! Not gonna lie though I went straight to MGSV for the first time after replaying MGS1, 2, and 3 at the beginning of this year and it was kinda rough getting into it. I'm still playing it, it's just the first 3 have that classic "tactical" espionage feel, especially 3! SNAKK EATRR!!!!!

you can go almost everywhere. but dog will start barking if you are too close to dogs. it would cause alert

I like how if you stand in the bathroom with the stealth on he's thinking: "feels like there's a ghost in this toilet, fck it I'll just sht myself" Edit: that dive off the top floor that knocked out two guys was a fcking awesome trick shot lmao

It seems like he had a sixth sense and decided "Nah screw that" 😂 and hahaha yes, thank you for mentioning that! I didn't plan it, but I saw the guard on the bottom go to investigate the guard who I dropped onto before, and it just worked out with the timing of the upstairs guard as well 🤣

when i see MGS3 footage, I get reminded of hunting for frogs. annoying was the one during the chase and you have to shoot the dug from a moving vehicle.

Ahh, you mean the Kerotan frogs? Yeah I get that 😅 there are quite a few during the chase sequence, but there is one in particular that is really hard to hit.

@@lovecraft7773 I actually do think that MGS2 Raiden was a good character. It's just that Kojima made us think we'd be playing as Snake, then pulled the rug out from underneath us when the full game released 😅

I still have my copy of Subsistence and i never tried using the book to distract Raikov. To this day MGS3 is my favorite game in the Metal Gear series.

@@IQ-Gameplay I usually just tranqed everyone before tranqing Raikov. Occasionally if I had the stealth, I'd mess with the guards but I didn't really mess with Raikov that much. Gonna have to fire up the PS2 and get back there again lmao

@@IQ-Gameplay no better way of figuring things out then by experimenting. Like I've heard, but haven't tested it myself, that you're able to skip The Sorrow's fight by just taking the revival pill.

@@YamchaCanDoBettr Indeed my friend 😄 and yeah, sort of - you have to drown yourself in the river first, and then use the Revival Pill 😊 but that way, you don't get The Sorrow's camo.

Is it possible for Raikov to wake up after you put him in locker?

It's the same rule for all enemies - as long as they're in a locker, they won't wake up, no matter what 😊 but if you open the locker so they fall out, and then you leave them there, they will wake up eventually.

Raikov is locked asleep or dead when you've taken the disguise already. No waking up in his thunderbolt thong

I always thought Raikov was somehow related to Raiden, they do look similar and have a similar name Perhaps Raikov was a parody of Raiden, the game reminding us of the previous game

Raikov and Raiden aren't related lol; it's just Kojima doing a bit of fan service because the MGS community didn't take too kindly to Raiden being the main character in MGS2 😂

Metal gear solid isn't gay, theres only a few confirmed characters and idk if hes one of them but it doesn't matter, just cause some characters are gay doesn't mean the entire series is.

Oh whhhaaat?! I never the game gave you a chance to get away even if he saw you. I thought as soon as he saw you it would be over so I always had so much pressure at this point in the game. P.S. I like how she doesn’t tell him what he needs and just says he is so slow Lol yeah he is slow for those kind of things I guess he’s just thinking about the mission always.

You either have to complete the game with 0 alerts, or complete the game whilst shooting all 64 Kerotan frogs in 1 playthrough. The Stealth camo will then be unlocked for all future playthroughs, but only for that difficulty on that save file 😊
