Hey now, Kojima had to work with what he got. Kiefer Sutherland was only booked for the morning and he had lunch plans at noon. The 4 lines we got was all the audio Kojima-san had to work with. We're lucky he chopped those 6-7 words up and made something coherent with it that he could stretch for the whole game. Good thing Kojima had the foresight to sneak some mics in the bathroom to grab some b-roll grunts when Sutherland had to do his business too.

I am not sure if the joke actually work here because Venom and Big Boss aren't the same person. Keifer as Big Boss was actually pretty talkative in TTP.

@The Stalker No, I was talking about them personality wise...Kiefer was pretty talkative in GZ as Big Boss and even in Phantom Pain the guy was talking alot. Honestly, I'd also argue that Venom isn't as silent as people make him out to be.

@The Stalker Why? Is it like genetic for a Snake to be talkative or something? Besides, he's not really a "Snake" in the same why as Liquid, Big Boss, Solidus and Solid anyway. Kojima pretty much stated he won't talk too much because he wanted emphasis on the characters personalities to come through their actions rather than words.
