METAL GEAR SOLID V: FASTEST Resources Farming | Fuel, Biological, Minor Metal, Precious Metal

This is the FASTEST way to farm standalone resources just in case you want to focus on one resource. The first part of the video shows you how to set up D-Walker so you mount it right away when the mission starts.
Farming at Skull Face is still the best way to get 4 out of the 5 resources in one grab. When I max everything out at Skullface, I usually go to The War Economy to farm Precious metals under a minute.. and its a good place to process resources while farming. Getting Minor Metal for the last 2 are the worst because the amount of Minor Metal for Close Contact is small and it takes a long time to start up Hellbound.
NOTE: You have to ABORT the mission (don't restart) and relaunch the mission again on your I droid. The containers will be there again for you to farm.

NOTE:
1. The guard on the first Walker Gear has to be bumped into to make the guards go to alert. This causes you to run over the first guard and make they other guard go away at the second gate.
2. Once the 3rd check point is triggered, you have to reload it again to restock your fultons back to 16.

Everything still works. I love using War Economy for Fuel, Biological and Precious Metals in the sense of getting those in one go before aborting and starting over/dealing with load screens again. Love the work invested in this video!

All of this still works. You need to follow the instructions exactly or containers will give severely reduced values or despawn outright. You can't get combat alerts or the checkpoints will shut off. D walker is more complicated than it looks at first glance. It doesn't take much error for you to have been better off farming with stealth camo on foot with the dog instead.

You miscounted dude, You get 4000 more minor metal in your skull face run that starts at 5:45 . One container at the very start (2nd container 16 seconds in) and one as the very last container.

october 12th /2021 still working all of them, incase anyone new comes to the game searching pissed off at all the age old guides out there that dont work at all and give 1% resources like 40 and 75 each crate. These still give full every single time if u do it in free roam first

not neccesarily in free roam, just have to ABANDON MISSION, but it saves times in free roam and also oflline (disconect option from the menu).

No, these farm missions only go up to episode 30.

Beard of Bees Pool no I mean that little box radio looking thing that spawns on the ground if you aren’t near the mission area. I can’t get that on my game and I’m not finished the story.

@@madzyadzy07 a few years late, but to anyone new those boxes appear when you select a mission while being in free roam, aka: already in the map, like when you finish a mission and can continue exploring or selecting free roam in the chopper, it doesnt have anything to do with your progress

The resource system is simply broken in this game. It forces one to do shit like this. It's really crazy. And at the same time, they try to prevent it as much as possible... Super-crazy. And what it's for, the base itself, is in many ways useless and just a giant mountain of dead metal. Holy shit... The gameplay advantage is minimal.

Fob raiding+fob events+main missions resources farming+free roaming resources farming+ short league (that you only need to participate ) points (around 1500 points for 4500 fuel or common metal or 6000 biological metal) + online and offline despatch missions for resources and you say it is broken. Do you even know how to play this? I maxed all 4 fobs without even ps+ which mean less fob rewards

If you do FOB's, you will receive Processed materials until you're maxed out online (1 million). Then it's a waste of time. You'll have to extract containers and risk triggering alerts and getting a wormhole. This method can be a bit tedious but it's risk-free. But hey, if you prefer FOB's, go ahead and make your day.

it isn't as bad as it seems. I droped from 900k espionage points to 0 just to get wayyyyyyyy easier fob infiltrations. less risk of defender show up

You should watch gamepro24x infinity farm save file method. All my walker gears, tanks, trucks, jeeps, gun turrets, AA guns, plants, processed and unprocessed resources are already capped off.. That saved me months or even years of pointless FOB resources collecting. Collecting tanks and trucks is something you can't do by just doing FOBs... I just collect resource containers and vehicles to make the grind easier so you could make a separate farm file. It's a checkpoint exploit. After you obtain containers, you have to trigger a checkpoint. Triggering certain checkpoints will transport your containers back to mother base.. Here's an example kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bb6VqcqDlprYfp8.html
