Honestly to me this is one of the most beautiful moments of the entire franchise eventhough it still doesn't beats the final battle with "The Boss" that one was sad hearthbreaking and yet during that fight we had to ascend to her level by learning counterattack without any eplaination and YOU had to be at her level in the Phantom Pain do its rather a "BROTHERS ALL!" typed experience (also look up that song from Republic Commando its amazing) where we are all soldiers furthermore we are BROTHERS! in arms...... which makes certain scenes to be more...... difficult..... I'd say that....... there was not once when I paused the game and was thinking that there HAS TO BE A DIFFERENT WAY! but as in MGS3 you had to reach the level of "The Boss" in this game you didn't just have to reach the level but you became the real "Big Boss" this legacy whatever has been done and earned We've buildt it Though MGS3 and MGS4 had some more beautiful scenes this scene as the bruised and beaten but not yet broken Kazuhira Miller always believing that the Big Boss is alive and instead of getting maybe soppy (of course he is a soldier but come on if a friend of yours basically comes back from the dead then however strong you may be emotionally soppy a little bit) he just smiles and says "What took you so long" Beautiful scene which shows off Miller's belief in the Big Boss And the weirdest fact is that this game is still on my computer even though I have beaten it almost even maxed it out and yet I'm keep coming back to it...... and sometimes..... asking myself....... Why are we still here?..... Just to suffer? Every Night I can feel my leg.... and my arms..... even my fingers.... the contents I've lost (from the game).... The comrades I've lost (in the game) won't stop hurting....... it's like they are all still there...... But you feel it too don't you?..... Kojima....... and now I undestand how Miller meant it..... and one day....... I'm gonna make them give back our game......... one day......

But as for looking more Youthful after surgery... I mean, in mission 46, we see Big Boss still has yet to really show visual age for how old he is just yet so... Unless I'm getting what you said a bit confused.

Bastion Technology you could easily turn this statement on its head- the brainwashed body double of Big Boss turned out to be way more badass, considering he was only a medic, lost a limb, protected the real Boss, and had significantly less fuck ups in the series as a whole than BB ever did. Venom Snake isn't the og, but he's way more badass in hindsight

He's right. From what I know Venom actually built up big bosses reputation to what it was. He did all the dirty work in the end. The real BB acknowledged this.
