The instrument is called a Morin Khuur or Horsehead Fiddle ( Mongolian: морин хуур) , it has two strings. The larger of the two strings (the "male" string) has 130 hairs from a stallion's tail, while the "female" string has 105 hairs from a mare's tail. It's considered a national symbol of Mongolia . most people dont know this but this type of throat singing is very hard to do and if done correctly u r suppose to hear 2 sets of tone, one an octive higher and one low coming from the throat. the Tibet Monks practice this throat chanting daily.
