I swear it's literally been yesterday that I went on DT wiki to check the list of tunings they use & it said that Petrucci was admitedly working on an 8 string majesty _and_ that there will most likely be an 8 string song on the upcoming album.

The idea of built in effects is something that I'd love, but tbh I'm a pedal nerd and gear head so not being able to have a colorful stompbox to fuck around with makes me sad.

for what its worth if you can afford it go for it, i am really bad but after getting one i found motivation to get better (i can play strange deja vu now). i know it sounds like a bad sales pitch but the guitar actually made me better lmao.
