I’m a lifelong James Brown fan he’s been my favorite since I was 12 years old in 1968, and I love your reaction to this you’re absolutely right James Brown is raw and real. You could do a reaction of PAPA’S GOT A BRAND NEW BAG from this same show. He does some great dancing there. This was 1981 by the way and he was 48 years old. If you would like to review something that shows his best dancing ever recorded and arguably the best rock/soul dancing performance, show NIGHT TRAIN from the 1964 TAMI SHOW.

You can see why he’s known as the godfather of soul. Amazing talent and an incredible performance! The voice, the raw emotions the band so on point. It makes me happy to see reaction videos like yours, knowing that new people are being exposed to incredible music. He did a version of this song with Luciano Pavarotti. That’s something definitely worth checking out!
