As much as i love Megadeth... Angel of Death IS the darkest, most vile and heaviest metal song ever written. And i fucking love it.

I feel the same . megadeth is beyond great same as slayer my favorite metal bands by far . slayer brings the evil .and with Phil on vocals this is heaven I mean hell on earth.

Slayer cannot be compared with Megadeth, because they are a darker, more sinister band since their beginning. Futhermore, Slayer is undoubtely heavier too, pretty much than every thrash band (probably only old Sepultura can be compared, at least from the most known bands).Slayer, esp in their old period are closer to bands like Dark Angel, Infernal Majesty, Morbid Saint, Razor ect.

Anselmo, a legendary metal vocalist. Holt and King, incredible thrash guitarists Bello, the Steve Harris of thrash metal, and my personal favorite bassist Lombardo, contender for the best metal drummer out there Good line up I think
