@@alternokillers I mean, it all comes down to personal preference. I really like Freds vocals, huge inspiration for me when it comes to screaming. I think he sounded very genuine (on 3$bill) and that's what I really like about him.On later realeses, he exaggerated his delivery and it made sense, because the band was kind of a joke band, so it fit. His vocal 'badness' is also one of the reasons why limp bizkit songs are so easy to sing along to, you dont have to be trained opera singer or be remotely talented, to not butcher the song.

These dudes are basically the pioneers of "Nu Metalcore". Theres been loads of bands with a lot of nu metal influence in modern years (of mice and men, i prevail, sylar, falling in reverse, even code orange tbh) but these guys coined it and where the first to admit being Nu Metal.

Kinda depends on the song, this song was totally Jim’s Roots style, I’d say the same with songs like overconfidence and no one should read this, but then you got songs like placenta and red light that are more like korn riffs

@@blackknightstudios9958 Well, I have to admit that it's clearly Roots signature riffs, but the way it's played, it's mixed and shit, it totally made me think of Korn, like.. I don't know.
