Dan's passion for music began very early in his childhood, but it was only in 2007 that he started to work seriously in his singing. Petra, Avantasia and Dragonforce were some of his favorite bands and his early influences. In time, Dan came to know about singers like Fabio Lione, Michael Kiske, Andre Matos, Eric Adams, and decided that he wanted his voice to sound as skilled and powerful. That decision made him start to join in various courses and music schools to master his voice, studying contemporary singing, classical singing, piano, music theory and music composition. Eventually, Dan started to teach singing to local students as well.

Oh yes .. my favorite rendition and as an 81 yr old lady, I've heard dozens ...Such a powerful, emotional and heartfelt performance. Dan grew up Christian to an Italian father and Brazilian mother. Sadly his father has passed away. His father gave him the harmonica when he was like 7yrs old. Dan can sing everything from metal to broadway to opera. He is truly a gifted singer. Also, Dan does not copyright his videos because he enjoys people reacting to his videos.

He is from Brazil, and has his own band " Fearless", they brought out an album "Chronicles of ancient wisdom" in 2016/17 he was the lead singer of "Orions Reign" and has some songs on their channel, including an album (sold out twice) " Scores of war". He can do opera "Nessum dorma",stage "Phantom of the opera, Gethsemane " and others, folk "Scarborough fair, Loch Lomond" and others, soft rock "Elvis covers", he does covers of Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, Metallica, ACDC, Manowar, Nightwish, Evanescence, Sabaton, Seal, Belinda Carlisle, Adelle and many more, also does Disney and Witcher,some he keeps near to the original, others he goes metal and actually improves on the original. I can't guarantee I'll watch reactions to a whole lot of others, but if you post anything from either Dan Vasc or Home Free, I'll be dropping in to watch as soon as I possibly can. I've subbed. I see that most of the people who have commented before me, have listed some of my favorite Dan songs (which are just about any of them, in reality). One I thought of, as I was seeing what others commented, that nobody listed, is "For All," originally written and sung by Roy Khan, who was one of Dan's favorite singers who "disappeared" for a while, but made a comeback, which made Dan SHINE. If I give the address for the song, my comment might disappear, so just look for that name in Dan's catalog. Also, be SURE to listen to the outro (there are outros on most of his older songs, but not for the last couple of years, now, except for an occasional one here or there). If there IS an outro, it will be important, and you'll get a blessing from Dan at the end of each one, as well. 😀 Also, you might want to watch Dan's presentation of "Beyond Belief," which he did in collaboration with John Lawry and John Schlitt--from Petra. They weren't with him, physically (most of his other collabs are digital shares of one type or another. However, if you watch "Dawn of Victory," you'll get to see Fabio Lione in person with Dan and his band (Fearless...his brother Davi Vasc on bass guitar, Gabriel Belozi on electric guitar[s], and Giovanni Rezende on [fabulous] drums), Dan's new studio that he had just completed. Dan was raised in the Methodist Church. The members of his band Fearless are childhood friends from church plus his brother Davi. He sings many hymns and has written songs for his band based on the Bible. He has over 200 songs on KZfaq. He becomes every song he sings. He is phenomenal.

Dan Vasc is a classically trained singer from Brazil. He is known for doing song covers mainly on KZfaq. He does not tour or perform live. The first song I heard him do was from the Disney movie Mulan. That is another you should check out.

Dan Vasc has stated he is a Christian and put this out for Easter. He undoubtedly sang this in church many times. This is my favorite rendition of this beautiful hymn as well. Loved your reactions. Grandad was a little stoic, but his mouth dropped open slightly and smiled a little at times, so I knew he was enjoying Dan's singing. Dan created the most powerfully moving rendition of this beloved old hymn ever imagined and like so many others, it inspired me to discover more about Dan and once I did, I was completely captivated. I listen to classic rock radio and every time I hear a song that Dan has covered, I think that just doesn't sound right🤣. Here's a few suggestions: "Toss A Coin To Your Witcher" & "Burn Butcher Burn" (from the Netflix The Witcher series); "Stairway To Heaven" (Led Zeppelin); "Scarborough Fair" and "Sound of Silence"; "Faithfully" (Journey); "Beyond Belief" (PETRA); "Kiss From A Rose" (Seal); "Bring Me To Life" an "My Immortal" (Evanescence); "Sweet Child 'O Mine" (Guns N' Roses); then there is opera, movie and show tunes, even Broadway and so, so many more. Great reaction. Dan has been on KZfaq for over ten years, but a lot of us just discovered him last year when he released Amazing Grace for Easter. A couple of my favorite Dan songs are Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera and Dawn Over a New World. Also Loch Lomond which he performs outdoors. He is amazing, hope you have fun learning more about him.
