It would be nice if Bridgette had letters on the metal stamps. It’s very hard to keep straight what letters they are and the direction to stamp.

Stamping too hard in the center can thin the metal right at the point where the bracelet bends, creating a stress point. Ensure you are not overstamping or stamping too deep at the center point. We recommend using the bracelet bending bar to curve the sides and using the pliers to bend the middle.

This stamped bracelet is made out of aluminum. It won't tarnish or turn you green as brass and copper would.

I bought a stamped bracelet online about 2 years ago. It is stainless steel and has not turned my wrist any odd color.....and I have been wearing it since I bought it. I had carefully removed it once( if you bend it too much they will break). The underside is no longer shiny....but it has never turned my skin.

We recommend stamping, then bending. To stamp on an already curved bracelet, we'd recommend using a bracelet mandrel.

We recommend using the Tilt & Tap technique to stamp 6mm and larger stamps, or stamps with more details. While applying pressure to the stamp, strike once with medium force. Then without lifting stamp, continue to strike while very slightly tilting the stamp in a circular motion to catch all sides of the design. Harder metals like brass and copper require a harder strike than say pewter, alkeme, and aluminum. Double impressions are caused form your stamp moving/bouncing around. Make sure you are anchoring the side of your hand and that you are applying pressure to the stamp. Lean into your stamp to apply pressure. This will help stop your stamp from bouncing.
