I am an older lady who has a son who is older than Tommy, so ages vise Tommy could easily be my son. I've never been interested in anything other than kind and benign ABBA and classical music. I loathed metal music like the plague. Then by chance I heard Tommy sing O Helga Natt in his own mother tongue. I was as if chained to the PC. There was something about this man that was so kind, so soft, so good. Now I'm a complete fan of Tommy Johansson. AND his metal music. I devour EVERYTHING he makes. And all that Sabaton and Majestica makes. Can't get enough. That's how it can be when Tommy Johansson steps into one's life 😊.

Tommy did obviously win the lottery when talent was distributed. I myself got nothing and he got it all. He plays guitar, sings, plays keyboard, base guitar and paints... come on!

Tommy is doing 24days of Christmas songs rt now...one a day. And so many more amazing performances. Since Tommy's day job is guitarist for Swedish metal band Sabaton...He takes Sabaton songs, and arranges the lyrics to the music and melodies of big Disney songs. Called DisneyTon, on his channel. They are brilliant in all ways!

There is the saying of Tommy fans, he doesn't do covers, he only does up-grades. You just pick anything, it's bound to be good. And the guy has a lot of humour as well. Just take a look at his Christmas Calendar. Or the Christmas album he did with his other band Majestica A Christmas Carol, based on Dickens, but composed and arranged by him. He worked out of traditional carols and made something completely new. Tommy sings and acts Ebenezer Scrooge.

Nice reaction, man! Yeah, Tommy most definitely has a voice of a god! This song was my introduction to Steelheart back in 1990, when it originally came out and yes, Tommy did an incredible job covering it. Next reaction should be to his other Steelheart cover, "I'll never let you go". He f@#$ing nailed that one too! You may also consider reacting to "You raise me up" cover (original by Josh Groban, I think) and of course his cover on "Eagle fly free" by Helloween. Dude, his rendition of this power metal anthem is just out of this world! He is a big fan of Helloween, so it makes perfect sense. One of my favourites by him for damn sure! Every cover is a new surprise, because he puts all the songs to a new and in my opinion higher level. And he can do anything. First cover I've heard was "Alone" from Heart and it blew me away. I swear, you will never bei disappointed. "Phantom of the opera" is a absolute masterpiece, and the Queen covers will make you cry.

I love your response, especially noting the warmth in Tommy's voice, and the darkness. Everything he sings, he sounds like he's living that song, like he means every word. (He can even break character, break the 4th wall, smile at the audience, and then pick up where he left off.) Maybe I'm wrong about interpretation, but it could be interpreted in two ways: One, the persona in the song is really sorry that he was so untrue and he'll be a better boyfriend. Two, that the persona is still a jerk, the lyrics aren't asking for forgiveness, but using the imperative, telling her to forgive him. In this case, it's good she's gone! But either interpretation pales during his soulful singing and guitar playing. Simply incredible!

Tommy is just a fabulous musician. There is nothing he cannot cover....or as Carina said....upgrades. He is able to transport emotions so amazingly, I have no words. And his instrumental abilities....as I said no words. Please do more Tommy or Majestica... we will be watching 😃

Steelheart are an old fav of mine, and i know this song well. Tommy ’s cover are amazing. Another Tommy suggestion for you, his Thin Lizzy’s Emerald cover where he’s guitar duelling with himself. Also his Queen and Gary Moore covers are damn good too

hard cover 2 do Miljenkos is in a league of his own, Tommy did awesome he's a little deeper in the beginning than miljenkos voice but the high notes are on point but they're not quite as powerful and clean as miljenko but its a great cover
