His breath control and ornamentation are perfect. He knows exactly how to phrase every single section of this song. I hope he doesn't feel eaten alive by all the attention now since he is only 12. If he intends to make a career in music someone smart, honest and with HIS best interests at heart will need to be his guide and mentor.

Great reaction John. Alfie's high notes float way up in the stratosphere. A multimillion dollar voice. He seems like such a happy lad too, which is pleasing to see.

Once in a lifetime, or once in a century...or maybe once in 500 years...What Alfie has, is the heart of a LION. Any & every 12~yr.old boy WISHES he could be this cool. What people don't know: He sang on the STREETS of Manchester, England. ( FOR YEARS ). & THAT'S why he's so GOOD.

Also, I love how you often comment on the lower softer parts, rather than just the belting. You're right that those slow parts are very difficult but people too often only focus on the bug powerful notes

I am so disappointed that Alfie Andrews did not get voted on. I think his second song choice was not a good choice. i still think he is better than all the singers left and that he should have won it all.

He does the song better than Gaga! Especially at the very end “I will be happy again” part, in the original, lady Gaga does not even hits his high notes. One of best singers I have ever seen on AGT.
