I finally have one. I freaking love it. Bought this and the black void opus a couple of months ago. Figured i'd see if you had a review. I agree completely with everything you said. I'm in the camp who loves the art.

Awesome vid as usual. I own a couple of Isham designs and when I bought my first one, it was def. awkward to open/close. After a few months of carrying them, it became very natural. Glad you touched on the ergos, when I bought the 719b, I hated it, now I carry it almost daily. Thank a ton for the great vid.

It's wild! Definitely a talking piece. And knives I have to be more mindful when retracting is a big annoyance. It's the main factor whether I edc it or not... Another great overview!

I've had my eye on this for weeks now. I think I may pull the tigger tonight. Love it. I own a few Chris Reeves and Reates but other than that all my knives are under $200-- but this is just oh so tempting. I NEED it. Great presentation.

The eschaton is even more crazier. Tbh I love this style of skeleton knife. CKF decepticon line is similar. I may get this later as it’s more practical than a eschaton. Yeah I said practical hahaha

@@metal_complex oh, im unfamiliar... did you do a video? I'll go try to find it on the YT... I was never really 'anti-chinese' as much as pro-American prior to our current global debacle and as such never cleared the WEs out of my BHQ wish list... still have the Miscreant, Arrakis and Aeterna just sittin there... and then there's that Drop Keen.... what's a guy to do while he's budgeting for his first Hinderer?

Superb review. Very accurate except this double clutch problem. I don’t have it in mine so I don’t think it is construction problem rather it is something wrong with Your knife. Although I have the carbon fiber model so maybe they have changed something.

Like the very useable blade profile and premium steel. Too outrageous for me though hehe, maybe for a BBQ knife.

Thinking about picking this up for the sake of the weird. I am 90% positive that i could throw a lanyard on this and wear it like a pendant necklace and no one would be the wiser...especially if I bust out my full goth gear from highschool. The only question is, this or the eterna?

Beautiful looking knife but it's and art knife and a show off knife. Not a very practical everyday use knife. I have a $20 knife that looks amazing and is very everyday useful. Hidden in a groove blade to cut thick strings and bands. It also has a strong metal point on the end if the handle to shatter a car window for rescue purposes. The blade is very sharp and hasn't dulled for the 5 years i've used it and I use it a lot. That is a practical knife. Like I said the Arrakis is a beautiful show off knife. I would not spend $330 on a knife myself. I know it's high end for collectors and I get it. I would like them to make a more affordable and practical one like $75 or lower for people who can't afford $330. Like I said - beautiful knife just not a practical as I like.

You are pronouncing Arrakis right. I believe it is a Dune krysknife "take" given the name. Or at least inspired given that Arrakis is the desert planet in the Dune universe.

“All steels rust” Laughs in H1 In all seriousness, I would 100% carry and use this knife if it weren’t for one thing. I cut veggies for my bearded dragon every morning with my pocket knife, so that blade would gunk up really REALLY fast.
