The most over built knife I ever had was an CS Espada XL. Bhq had it listed for some irresistibly ridiculous price that I think must have been an accidental typo from the office like $135ish (CTS-XHP in Coyote brown w/ black blade 🤯) so I snatched one up and gently played with it for a few days before flipping it on E-Bay which tbh was my plan from the moment I purchased it, I made around $100 and bought more knives on Bhq feeling somewhat guilty that I may have taken advantage of an misprint in pricing 😅. At a certain point the handle on really long folding knives just becomes so oversized and unwieldy that there's no practicality to handling and maneuvering it. I think my Espada Large which I actually do very occasionally carry maxes out handle length while still being reasonably maneuverable and useful.

Id love to see a top 10 Baller on a Budget list. Like the least expensive knives that have a hint of high end materials. Damasteel, Timascus, Unique carbons, Milled titanium, etc. (If there is any) 😂

I‘m not much into overbuilt knives really, but some of them look fantastic and I always respect good workmanship. Designwise I find the Beowulf interesting, but my top favourite knife from this list has to be the Reate - love that technology. Thanks for the video!

I'm having a hard time deciding between the qsp penguin, the vosteed Valkyrie satin seax or the wharnCliffe pyrite. Also trying to decide between the cjrb chord and riff. Heard that the action on the Riff is absolutely amazing. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

my biggest knife is the Cold Steel Rajah I. Bought two when they came out and sold one for some good $. That thing is dangerous (blade comes down with a lot of force). Fun to wave open it out of your cargo shorts.

15:41 when I saw it the first thing that came to my mind is that it looks like a triple stuffed Oreo that you think you’ll like until you eat three of then and realize you should have just stuck with the double stuffed. There’s a lesson in there somewhere!

Just my personal opinion, but I think either the t1000 or the alpha beast would make excellent tactical knives for EDC along with a few others on this list but those would be my two choices
