I forgot about this song. Such a simple, but punch you in the face sound. I love it. Barnes is my favorite for the music, doesn't mean fisher is bad. Both of them kick ass.

In my metalized opinion Chris leaving Cannibal Corpse and forming Six Feet Under was the best thing to happen to metal for ever and ever.George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher's singing style is far better suited for Cannibal and Chris's style has been developed to fit and make Six Feet Under a truly great band.Or something like that.

Today, April 17th, the day Commandment was released one of the best Death N Roll/Death Metal albums! Chris Barnes sounds great on this, as well as the rest of the band. This album to me is like 13 but Better! They really held on that groove sound of 13, improved on it, and made an amazing brutal sounding record! HAIL SIX FEET UNDER AND CHRIS BARNES! One of my top favorite Death Metal bands EVER! 🤘🤘🤘

+Guilherme Souza The first death metal bands I heard 25 years ago were Morbid Angel, Deicide, Obituary & Death. I just sort of drifted that way, from metal to thrash metal and then to death metal, while still listening to the metal. It's good to keep an open mind and start young!

Death metal always had a problem with having charismatic frontmen. Chris Barnes is one of the few exceptions to the rule. Most of the time, the frontmen seem to kind of blend in with the rest of the band, which might work for the music but isn't really memorable when you perform.

The music is absolutely amazing. I love the sound. The vocals are complete garage. And that's a damn shame for such an incredible sound. This song needs to be redone with a different vocal approach. You can growl and scream, with an "angrier" approach, that still clarifies the lyrics and expresses the emotion. These vocals are just Grah Grah blah blah what?? I feel like these are the types of vocals people outside of metal mock and criticize, rather then respect.

Yeah, but death metal back in the early 90s like Deicide and Obituary felt legit, raw, intense, real, these current deathcore bands like Suicide Silence, Carnifex, Whitechapel etc all sound soooo damn fake and whiney, waaaaaah, boo hoo crap. Shit from the early 90s felt like the weight of 6 feet of dirt dumped on your corpse, this modern crap feels like 6 gallons of feces dumped on your face.
