MetalCloaks JK Wrangler EVAP Canister Relocation Bracket moves the EVAP Canister up and over the rear axle to completely protect it from any harm. The MetalCloak Evap Canister Relocation Bracket is an easy to install, light weight bracket that relocates the canister from being a hang up point under the jeep and places it in a protected area above the rear axle.

Nice overview. The information on spinning the "white canister part" and where the clip is was a great help. I installed this on my 2015 JKU I recently purchased. Total install took about an hour. The Rivnuts were easy using my 3/8" impact driver vs wrenching or an actual rivnut installer. I also used the short extension hose. Not sure why anyone would install a skid plat instead of this relocation kit. Great job Metal Cloak on quality and price. Thanks for taking the time to cover this install. Your video sold me on this kit.

I'm glad it was able to help you out, and I agree its much easier using a 3/8" impact vs wrenching. It just makes it so much easier. I don't know why people would choose a skid plate vs moving the canister. Even if you install a skid plate it is still a hang up spot if you go over a rock. With this kit your entire axle protects the evap canister.

@@NotICON - Just completed this Mod. You are totally correct, when you said the toughest part was disconnecting the Hoses from the EVAP Canister!

Thanks. I have a lot of MetalCloak products on my Jeep, and it doesn't help that they are located just an hour south of me. I will say that they have some of, if not the best customer service I have ever seen. I higly recomend them if you are looking for quality parts and great service.

Big Question...did it help at all with the infamous "rattle" from the white part of the evap canister? I am thinking of moving it, but am hoping it is a more solid mount than the factory. If I really press up on the old skid plate, trying to get it not to bounce, the rattle isnt so bad when i hit the canister. But as of now, i can hear that damn thing rattle on every bump in the road.

I honestly don’t remember a rattle from the evap canister. I will say that the mount is very solid. It doesn’t move and it holds the canister snugly.

I installed the Pypes High Ground Clearance Cat-Back Exhaust, www.extremeterrain.com/pypes-high-clearance-catback-jk-sjj21r.html the only difference is that the exhaust has a deeper and more aggressive exhaust note.
