This song was featured in Sons of Anarchy. It's about using ppl instead of handling your own problems. Yela's style is very unique. The only other artist that I know that is this versatile is Andre 3000 from Outkast. He can sing and rap. He's a blend of blues, country (from Alabama) and rap. Grew up listening to Three 6 Mafia.

Hey @sequr2289 For me the song just fell flat on an initial listen. Didn’t feel much of anything from it. Just couldn’t find his vibe. I think that lost me more than lyrics. That is one of the downsides of doing a real reaction, I come in totally blind. I understand the tough guy attitude part, I understand the “Don’t tread on me” vibe. I grew up in Decatur and College Park….ATL, so I get the rural south / rap mix he’s got going. Most likely need to do a second pass 🤘🏼I keep hearing such great stuff about him. Any other tracks I should check out?

This song is basically about people taking advantage of ur willingness to handle situations that they got themselves into cuz they know that you're willing to come bail them out. Like using people as a get out of jail free like I can start shit with this guy and he'll come help me if it gets serious. That type of shit

My interpretation of this song is Yelawolf literally singing about how everyone around him changed, when he became famous and rich, while accusing him of being the one "who's changed". Suddenly every "family" and "friend" started to emerge out of nowhere, expecting him to be their problem solver (financially or otherwise). And he sings that he was always the one looking out to his family the whole time, but as soon as people became pushy and he had to start saying firm "NO" many of them - they immediately all forgot about what he did for them and started talking shit about him. That hits me right home. Not on the same scale as Yelawolf obviously, but I also had to deal with the same shit when I just kept helping everyone in my circle until "its gone" and some of them ungrateful motherfuckers were surprised to hear me say "no, deal with your own shit" for once. Being kind and generous is a good thing, but don't overdo it people. Put yourself in the highest priority first.

To me its about not being pushed around but also not going so far that it takes you too far. Strong and firm but not over the line. Yelawolf's unique style takes some getting used to but he has a very complex skill and talent

Yeah it only took a quick review of the lyrics 🙂 He spits these lines out pretty quick and during my reactions I’m essentially listening “live”. I’m trying to get a vibe for the instrumentals, lyrics, and video all at once.

@@MetalGuyReactsA large percentage of the cats in the crowd are straight up ruthless people. That whole slumerican thing brings out a lot of bikers, felons, and like minded people. Now I'm not saying we are all bad- I group myself in to that category. Although I've been in my fair share of trouble with the law and seem to catch cases when I'm on the straight and narrow. I guess what I'm saying- you need to catch a show lol.
