I swear Epica have written at least 20 masterpieces, they are my favourite band by far! 🤘

Man, I don't know how or why but yesterday I randomly started thinking about your Epica reactions. Even went and checked if you had done any I had missed since Design your Universe, and today you pop up in my feed with a new one!

This song goes back to 2007 on the album The Divine Conspiracy. Mark wrote the music, and co-wrote the lyrics with former guitarist Ad Sluijter. When I first heard this song, I thought it was good, but moved on to something else. It kept sounding better to me every time I heard it, now it's one of my favorite EPICA songs. Absolutely love Simone's voice on this song. And yes, the entire Omega Alive virtual concert is awesome.🤘🤘 They have released 4 videos from that concert at AFAS The Netherlands 2023. The only song, of those, that you haven't heard at all yet is the ballad Rivers. This version features Apocalyptica.

Dingwall wanted to make a signature bass for Rob and call it “Rob van der Loo” but Rob didn’t want that, so they made a Hellboy design because Rob really likes the comics from HellBoy he even has tattoos from HellBoy. It has been officially approved by the creators of HellBoy

Probably the 2nd Epica song I ever heard, and I love it. In the studio version, when she says "All I wish, is to get rid, of this OBSESSIVE DEVOTION!" she says it with such strong emotion and it sounds great. My fav. Epica tunes are "Design Your Universe", "Illusive Consensus", and "Kingdom of Heaven Part 1".

Another thing about Epica .In my opinion there is not one bad song on the albums and it´s like many metal bands ,live is Epica better

Don't know how you came about without doing this one for so long lol It's in my top 10 songs from them for sure But hey you know most of their best songs, it's okay you don't have that much else to react to anymore (even though with Epica there's always more lol)
