I think some other EXO music videos/songs that are in a similar vein to Monster would probably be Overdose and Lotto, but I'd say both of those are a little less intense than Monster. If you liked Monster for the aesthetics you might also like The 7th Sense or Boss by NCT U, they're another boy group under the same company as EXO (SM Entertainment, one of the big three). EXO's live performances are also really incredible.

this is a long comment bc I have lots to say I’m here (and subbed!) from the Dreamcatcher videos- people are giving you great kpop recs, and I love that you guys give merit to all kinds of music as metalheads and fellow musicians. Mad respect EXO is known as one of the most technically talented groups in the industry. Their vocalists are insane, and they come from the mega company SM, which is known for putting out technical dance + vocal groups. (all kpop groups dance and sing but some focus on one more than the other- SM groups are known for their well-roundedness if that makes sense) as metal + rock fans there are some really awesome Japanese rock groups you could check out too in the future!! some of my favorite groups are Hello Sleepwalkers, 9mm Parabellum Bullet, and Ningen Isu. Ningen Isu is really sick because they’re old guys who were inspired by KISS in the 70s. Have fun with your adventures in music discovery!!

"Best male dancing group" is kinda hard to pinpoint they all are good. If you watch any group's dance practice video it's impossible to not go "wow" or "woah" or "holyhajsjdkd". It comes down to preference at this point. Even some "fun" choreos are still great (i.e Pentagon - Shine, BTS - Baepsae).

As a fellow metalhead it makes me so happy when people validate my love for kpop.

Mama was Exo's first release and debut video in 2012. Monster was released in 2016 so that is the result 4yrs after Mama. You can react to the dance practice video for Mama and Monster to see how their dance skills have evolved as well. Exo really broke out with Growl from their second album XOXO which also yielded the single Wolf. You guys should react to the live performance of Wolf at the Tokyo Dome. It really showcases their growth as live performers and it continues the reformation of the Exo tree of life(from the Mama video) after losing 3 of the original 12 members. Their last full album The War has a video called Power that revisits the Exo legend from Mama and features sci-fi, comic book elements, and animation.

After I left my comment on your reaction to Mama I realized you did check out Monster. Glad you loved it. One thing you'll find interesting is the main rapper Chanyeol (redhead in Monster) he is a musical genius. He listens to all types of music and has done a number of acoustics of English songs, including Creep by Radiohead and a small piece of Heavy by Linkin Park to honor Chester Bennington after his death. Chan also is featured in the Far East Movement song Freal Luv. I'm not big into Hip Hop types of music, but that one kicks ass.

I have so many recommendations hmm first of all I really recommend group called "Seventeen" (there suppose to be 17 members but they debuted "only" with 13, explaining the name as 13 members + 3 subunits (they have hiphop, vocal and performance subunits) + 1 Carats (their fandom name). They are from rather a small company. The group is known as self produced idols, they do most of the work themself, producing music, lyrics, choreography, they also help with music videos. Imo this group is top tier dancing wise, they are always so synchronized despite so many members also very good vocals and rap on point. I recommend songs: Very Nice, Clap, Don't Wanna Cry, Thanks. If you have time you can also their subunit songs: Change Up (leaders of each subunit), Trauma (hip hop), 바람개비(vocal), Lillili yabbay (performance). As a lot of people mentioned already for k-pop/rock: Day6 (4/5 members are main vocals :) + Jae is also a youtuber, check his yt channel - Jaesix, songs: "Congratulations", "Let it Go", "I wait", "How Can I say" - my favorites, although all are great, their japanese single "Stop The Rain" is also lit) The Rose (their main vocalist Woosung voice is very interesting - "Baby", "Sorry") and FT Island (main vocal - Hongki is also one of the best vocalists in kpop world "Take Me Now", "Pray", "Severly"). Other recommendations: Big Bang - kings of kpop period. Each member also has their own huge discography. (very old stuff that made them popular: "Haru Haru", "Lies", "Love Song" "Tonight" "Fantasic Baby" "Monster"; newer things: "If You", "Sober", "Fxxk it"). Infinite - (they were first kpop group with almost robotic synchronized dances, all angles synchronized 100%, also amazing live singers, from a very small company,debuted 2010) "Be Mine", "Before the Dawn", "Paradise", "The Chaser", "Tell Me". A.C.E (new group, amazing vocalists and dancers, great live performances) - "Cactus", "Callin", "Take Me Higher" From girlgroups I recommend: Red Velvet (SM Entertaiment group) ("Dumb Dumb", "Russian Roulette", "Bad Boy") and 2ne1 (iconic group, unfortunately disbanded, Big Bang sister group, both from YG entertainment, songs: "Missing You", "Lonely", "Follow Me" "Fire", "Hate You", "Can't Nobody" "I am the best") More from BTS: "Save Me", "Dope", "I need you", "Run", "Spring Day", "DNA", "No more dream", "N.O", "Danger", "War of Hormones" More from EXO: "Lucky One", "Growl", "Love Me Right", "I'll sing for you" ,"Miracles in December", "Power" I could recommend like 100 things more but I will stop at those "essencials" ;)

There are two songs of theirs that have had the same/similar impact as Monster, Overdose and Call Me Baby, but all of their title tracks since Growl have been huge hits though I personally think you guys would enjoy Universe as it is a rock ballad and you seem to enjoy hearing guitar :) KoKoBop is the song they took most part in, 3 members wrote lyrics, 1 or 2 helped choreograph, and I think 1 helped with the visual concept of the video. They're really talented guys and since you mentioned wanting to see them act last time I recommend one of the members' acting debut the movie Cart and his movie Along With The Gods (part 2 will be screened in America as well so be on the look out) is the second or third highest grossing Korean movie of all time, they're really such great guys with kind hearts, if you feel like you want to get into them I promise it's not a decision you will regret
