The two girls surprised me by how good their voices sound together. I think Scott has a sound that is unlike anyone else I have ever heard. Wish this lasted lots lots longer

This was their "farewell" performance after they were voted off in the semi-finals and unmasked (they were robbed, of course! 😄). Due to the time constraints of a TV show, it's a shorter version of the song, but it still allows Mitch to slap everyone in the audience (both studio and television) who wasn't familiar with PTX! Since from one of their earlier performances it was obvious there was a female vocalist in the group, I'm still convinced that a lot of people who heard the masked performance of this song thought that the high notes were from her (Kirstie) - but it was Mitch all the way! My personal favorite performance was Total Eclipse of the Heart, where everyone got a chance to sing a short solo line for the first time (Scott had been singing lead in the first two songs). PTX even managed to sneak in a short a cappella section at the end, when they did one of their "everyone sings a different melody line but comes back together at the end" segments.

Tom Ball has an incredible version of this song from AGT Allstars. Really should check it out

Great reaction. Dead on about Gritty Scott. I feel like you need to watch the group's entire run on Masked Singer. It's a silly show, but it's fun to see them adapt to having (gasp) instruments at their disposal. And also how obvious it is that it's Pentatonix.

I think they had to simplify the arrangement for the show timeline too much and try to hide who they were. Glad mitch could slap everyone on their way out though. Haley Reinhart w/ postmodern jukebox is an absolute clinic on Creep in a torch singer jazz style. I love it so so much.

I love PTX and I am hoping to see them in September. I have always said that Scott and Mitch are the best singers in the world, honestly.

Once i heard the "California Roll" do a cover of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi i knew it was PTX cuz a dead giveaway was obviously PTX is from California now even though they originated in Texas but Scott also has a distinctive raspy voice like he did in The Sound of Silence & Mad World. The other dead giveaway is if u look on KZfaq & i first noticed this on my PS4 KZfaq which is where i consume most of my KZfaq content but all of The Masked Singer "California Roll" videos have "PTX" as a hashtag in the video's description box so if one was keen on typing PTX Reaction or Pentatonix Reaction u'ld see The Masked Singer California Roll pop up. The Masked Singer also had Pentatonix in the hashtags too which is another reason ppl knew on social media but they couldn't say anything cuz they were under an NDA. The one Judge Jenny got it early on but they kept playing dumb about it. Kinda glad yet not glad that PTX didn't win cuz it kinda would've been a controversial win seeing as how TMS KZfaq account outted PTX.
