Yes, thanks. His high mix is crazy, but his soft notes on the edge of breaking are so hard to do, and his are so controlled and firm, and he adds the perfect amount of breathiness. He knows his voice so so well.

I'm with you - the very end of Passione comms to my mind. He is balancing on the very edge between breath and barely still a tone without a crack or uncertainty. It gets me every time. These little things are mostly overlooked among his crazy vocals but so impressive and difficult.

I believe in an interview the producer needed at least 3 singers to sing the song for Dimash so he'd have an idea of what they wanted

The K 8n his name has a little tag on it ķ which means its pronounced as a Q and his name like the name of his country is often spelled with a Q. The video is from the Movie Creators, the Past, should be out very soon pandemic allowing. Dimash ending with him singing his own guitar solo, except that note isn't on any guitar 😂💖

The K/Q thing is part of an ongoing linguistic transliteration debate. His name is obviously in Kazakh and Kazakh is (for now) officially written in a Cyrilic based alphabet (АБВГ.../абвг...), not the Latin alphabet we use in English (ABCD.../abcd...). It’s the difference between the pure-Slavic Cyrilic “К” and the expanded (non-Slavic) Cyrilic “Қ” and the question of how to transliterate that into Latin/English, complicated by it’s apparent allophone nature when followed by a back vowel. It quickly starts getting very technical and gets into the history of the controversial Russification of Central Asia and politics and... yeah, best not get dragged into that rabbit-hole mess. Dimash himself in English language marketing used “K” at first (ie the name of his YT channel) but now seems to be favoring using Q as he himself learns more English but a lot of what little name recognition he has established in the west is already under Kudaibergen not Qudaibergen/Qudaıbergen In short, probably best just to stick with his nickname only: “Димаш” or “Dimash”

Thank you for your reaction to Across Endless Dimensions! You said that Dimash could be a great metal singer - you can also check out his growling in the beginning of Diva Dance + Drunken Concubine in duet with Li Yugang , and Our Love from the Masked Singer and in the beginning and the end of Vocalise fom his recent Kiev concert. Kazakhs write in Cyrillic alphabet, so when they write in the Latin alphabet, you can find spelling both with K and Q - K (Q)udaibergen, K(Q)azakh(q)stan.

Great reaction! I think someone else mentioned, the person with the monocle is William Shatner. Whenever this movie is released, this will be the end credit song. The movie director had to bring in 3 people to practice this song in order to present it to Dimash, because no one person could sing all three parts like he could. As far as the Q instead of K, since 2017, the country is in the midst of changing its alphabet from Cyrillic to Latin. In this case the K would become a Q. It was a presidential decree. From what I read, it's going to take some time to be fully adopted and has been in ongoing discussions for like the last 10 years. Last I saw it was supposed to be fully changed by 2025.

❤👍❤ Check out the movie on Wikipedia. The story is amazing! Well known actors in the movie are William Shatner (Star Trek), Gerard Depardieu (Green Card) and Bruce Payne (Dungeons and Dragons). Miss seeing your reviews about Dimash's music. So glad you're back. Please review "Ogni Pietra Olympico". Dimash and Igor Krutoy, World Famous Russian/Ukraine composer/pianist, were invited to perform a song for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2nd European Olympic Games in Minsk, Belarus in June 2019. Maestro Krutoy composed this music for Dimash to sing there. It is primarily a fight song for the competitors to encourage them to fight for what they have been training for, for so long. To go for the Gold! This is a very powerful song. And no one else could ever come close to sing it like Dimash. Since then, they have performed this song at many other events, concerts and venues. He has literately been singing professionally & training since he was 3 yrs old. He has almost 7 octaves & is very comfortable in all. He is unmatched. His ability is stellar and no one can touch his perfection & beauty.

This is not Dimash's single. Across Endless Dimensions is the closing credit soundtrack for an Italian sci-fi fantasy movie called CREATORS : THE PAST starring Bruce Payne, William Shatner and Gerald Depardieu among others. Supposed to premiere in Italy last March 19th but got postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Pieregiuseppe wrote this song for Dimash. It was in an interview with the conductor. In fact Piergiuseppe had to hire 3 singers to showcase the song for Dimash. I think they are slated to release a soundtrack of the movie.

This song supposed 3 singers sing this song, but The last version the singer Guitars didn't show up, when Dimash goes upper high note that his signature and masterpiece, he asked the producer and director He could sing, They reheard the song and he did incredible. they let him sing that information the director compliment him, talked highly about Dimash in his interview about conference movie last few weeks ago. Yes. The Kazakh spelling is Qudaibergen. When Dimash created his Official KZfaq channel, I recall that Dimash's major Fan clubs suggested the "Americanized" English spelling for fans/viewers to more easily find, remember and access his channel.

Димаш это фантастика! Красавчик необыкновенный ! Это лучшие в современном мире! В России не ценят по настоящему талант! Здесь любят стразы и перья! К сожелению ЭТО так, судя по моим наблюдениям . Любят то, что под сто грамм. То что попроще. И не надо писать что это не так. ЭТО ТАК. Димаш это наивысшее искусство. Это для настоящих ценителей прекрасной музыки. В нынешнее время наша культура не на высоте. Поэтому это чудо не увидишь на экранах долбаные тв и не услышишь по долбоному радио. Муссируется одно старье! Впрочем чему тут удивляться. So I am a rock fan. I also would LOOOOVE to hear Dimash singing a heavy rock song. So far I just heard him singing Show Must Go On and a Queen Medley. But please, can you tell me if you ever heard another vocalist sounded like an electric guitar like he does in the end of this song??? He rocks!!!

Yeah it is mainly spelt Kudaibergen but can sometimes be spelt Qudaibergen which is why his logo is DQ

It is not pronounced as a (k), but rather as an amplified K that comes from a tick in the back of the throat without a tongue closure.. In atabic it is the sound of the letter Qaf ق

I've seen other answers to you question about the K and Q. I thought it was because Kazakhstan is in the process of changing their alphabet from Cyrillic to Latin and so the Q was due to this change.
