It's funny you say that. When I was 10 I had the soundtrack for Mortal Kombat and when I heard Twist the Knife (slowly) by Napalm Death on there I thought it was Goro doing vocals with some metal band. Lol that was also my first real introduction to metal. Just thought that was funny you said that. I always felt like I dork when I finally realized it was just guttural vocals.

Saw these guys in Philly back in November.... They opened up for exhumed....it was a pretty good show except for the fact that I couldn't hear him singing at all! When he heard me tell him for about the fourth time that I couldn't hear him he got really pissed and told me to shut up in front of the whole crowd! Lol then the drummer threw a beer at my buddy who is standing right next to me! Needless to say we got kicked out of the club that night... It was still pretty fun lol

I've always thought this about Gatecreeper as a whole. Not to shit on anybody who likes them, that's your thing, but in the grand scheme of things they're kind of basic and trying to be "deeper" than they really are. The only thing they have going for them is their guitar tone and that is just emulating Entombed which every old school death-metal throwback band is trying to do these days. I've always been able to sniff out a poser from a mile away and this dude absolutely is one. They're just a shitty version of Tomb Mold.
