The funniest part of this entire video, is that given Robotnik/Eggman's ego and obsession with showmanship and so on, I can 100% believe this is EXACTLY how it went in that zone in the original game if the devs could do it back then..

I expected an 8 or 9 from this video. I got something in the triple digits. Was not expecting a use of the Bad Future vocal bits or the call back to the "baddest MC" image, very well done and put together. Top-notch editing as well

The vocal bits are actually part of the song. All the song audio is from Sonic Mania, Metallic Madness Act 2. So you complementing the vocals is complementing Tee Lopes, not this guy.

@@jordancooney6817 No, the comment was specifically referring to the short part at 0:46 - 0:58 , which uses a short sample from the original Sonic CD track, and, is not present anywhere in Mania's Metallic Madness Act 2. You can check yourself, but, in the album version, the song loops twice, and this isn't in either loop. You're misremembering, which, is totally cool! It happens to the best of us, but, issues arise when you go into comment sections aiming to dunk on someone for internet points, when your facts are just blatantly wrong. Yes, the vocal bits at the start ARE used in Tee Lopes' remix in Mania, but, that specific section from 0:46 - 0:58 is not, which is what the original comment was praising! And I agree, it's a really good use of the sample, especially in the context of a more traditional music video. You shouldn't jump in and try to correct someone without checking the facts first, as, we all have misconceptions and biases that color the way we view the world. Being willing to step outside of those misconceptions is one of the most important parts of growing up. Have a great day!
