Hating on Metallica is more pop than Justin Bieber. I think Hetfield has a better vocal range than he did in the 80's and 90's and they fuck up far less live than they did back then too (because they're not stumbling around drunk anymore). IMO some of their greatest live performances are from this decade rather than the others (My Friend of Misery in Rock in Rio 2012 being one of them, most amazing crowd response I've ever seen)

You ppl do realize the "tuning room" IS where they "practice" songs!? And shortest straw"s solo has been cut down like that for many years. It's not just kirk. There is a point in that solo where the whole band comes to a stop and then they take off again. They cut that out?! Nothing about that part seems any harder than the rest of the solo so it must be a band decision sort of thing.

I'm sorry you feel that way dude but Metallica are hardened to it and don't care, they've been losing fans since they fired Dave Mustaine and were accused of selling out for writing Fade to Black in the 80's. If they took their haters seriously they wouldn't be up on that stage playing to thousands of happy and fully satisfied fans.
